Simple, delicious, and cheesy macaroni and cheese recipe
One of my favorite meals to prepare is macaroni and cheese. Macaroni and cheese is easy to make, quick to make, and very budget friendly. My recipe can be used as a phenomenal side to any entrée or can be the main course itself if you love mac and cheese. This recipe is no hassle. It basically just consists of boiling the noodles then mixing the ingredients so everyone with a little time on their hands can enjoy this recipe.
Ingredients:
- 0.75 pounds of elbow noodles (or your preference)
- 1.5 cups of pepperjack cheese (Colbyjack can be a great substitution)
- 1.5 cups of white american cheese (Cheddar can be a great substitution)
- 1.5 cups of 2% milk
- 0.25 cups of salted butter
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of pepper
- Optional- Pinch of bacon bits
- Optional- Drizzle of buffalo sauce
- Optional- Pinch of bread crumbs
- Bring a pot of water to a boil on a stove.
- While the water is heating up shred the cheese and mix all of the ingredients except for the noodles.
- When the pot is boiling put the noodles in until they are al dente. (Use the box the noodles come in as a guideline for approximate timing)
- When the noodles are at the proper texture turn the heat down to low and empty out the water.
- Put the pot back on the low heat burner and whisk in all ingredients until fully blended.
- Divide into 4 equal bowls.
- Garnish with salt and pepper as well as any other optional ingredients.
- Enjoy
